Risen Life in the Spirt

The Risen Life in the Spirit

Posted : Feb-14-2021

Live by the Spirit,..the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. (Gal 5:16,22)

There is therefore now no condemntion for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ has set you free from the law of sin and of death.. those of live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit.. to set their mind on the Spirit is life and peace... you are in the  Spirit, since the Spirit of God dwells in you. (Romans 8:1-2,5-6,9)

If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will give you life to your mortal bodies also through his Spirit that dwells in you. (Romans 8:11)

You will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you and you will be my witnesses (Acts 1:8)

And suddenly from heaven there came a sound like the rush of a violent wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. Divided tongues, as of fire, appeared among them, and a tongue rested on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:2-4)

Come Holy Spirt!

Make our heart burn with the fire of love for the Lord

And transform our life into the Spirt of God to bear fruits that will remain. Amen

Easter Proclamation

Exult, let them exult, the hosts of heaven,
exult, let Angel ministers of God exult,
let the trumpet of salvation
sound aloud our mighty King's triumph!

Be glad, let earth be glad, as glory floods her,
ablaze with light from her eternal King,
let all corners of the earth be glad,
knowing an end to gloom and darkness.

Rejoice, let Mother Church also rejoice,
arrayed with the lightning of his glory,
let this holy building shake with joy,
filled with the mighty voices of the peoples.....

Therefore, O Lord,
we pray you that this candle,
hallowed to the honour of your name,
may persevere undimmed,
to overcome the darkness of this night.
Receive it as a pleasing fragrance,
and let it mingle with the lights of heaven.
May this flame be found still burning
by the Morning Star:
the one Morning Star who never sets,
Christ your Son,
who, coming back from death's domain,
has shed his peaceful light on humanity,
and lives and reigns for ever and ever.
Amen.
