COVID-19 Updates

Prayer in Time of COVID

Gracious God, you who are the author of all life, and who desire the well-being of all people, during these dark days of COVID-19, increase in us, respect and reverence for all human life.

Grant restored health to the sick,
comfort and hope to the dying,
eternal peace for those who have died,
strength to family members, relatives, clergy, friends and volunteers, renewed energy to hospital workers, PSWs, nurses and doctors, and perseverance to all in the health care professions.

Grant wisdom to scientists for the development of effective and moral vaccines,
discernment and right judgment for legislators,
aid to the discouraged, poor and vulnerable,
courage and justice for front-line workers and all who risk their lives for the benefit of others, and keep always in our minds the vision of the true common good of all the world.

We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

April 18, 2021

Dear Parishioners,

Peace be with you and with your families.  As we continue to endure the COVID-19 pandemic, please know that I have not ceased to pray for you through these challenging times.

I would like to thank all the parishioners of St. Timothy's for their ongoing support.  I am especially grateful to all the volunteers who have faithfully welcomed parishioners and ensured that our church remained open.  Again, thanks to you all for the sacrifices you have made.

As of April 19th, 2021, the Ontario Government has imposed a provincial-wide stay-at-home order which will be in place at least until May 20th, 2021.  These new measures require us to restrict attendance inside the church to 10 people.

Due to these measures, the public celebration of Mass must be temporarily cancelled. We will resume 15 minute communion services on Saturdays and Sundays (by registration). The church will remain open for adoration (by registration) and confessions will be offered at various times (for details click on the Parish Schedule below).

Please continue to refer to our Parish Website, YouTube Channel and my weekly email for ongoing communications. If you would like to subscribe to the emailing list, please contact the parish office by phone (416) 494-6526 or by email
